Each year, hundreds of gold medal winning products from around the country enter the Australian Grand Dairy Awards with high hopes that they might be judged Champion in the grand final of dairy awards.
Our panel of esteemed cheese and dairy judges have spooned, sipped and nibbled their way through this year’s products to crown the finalists in this year’s Australian Grand Dairy Awards.
These products made it through a rigorous judging process and impressed judges, putting them in the running to be an AGDA Champion – the industry’s most prestigious and highly regarded accolade.
Announced on March 2 2023, these local Champions are now ready for you to explore.

Floridia Cheese Burrata
Floridia Burrata is a natural cheese made from fresh pasteurized cow's milk. Rich and creamy in flavour without being too indulgent, Floridia Burrata has an outer shell made from mozzarella that's formed into a pouch and then filled with soft, stringy curd and fresh cream. The finished Burrata is then tied to form a little topknot pouch and packed with brine in a container. The real magic happens when Floridia Burrata is sliced open and the creamy insides spill out. Floridia Burrata is best served fresh at room temperature, goes well with salad, crusty bread, prosciutto, fresh tomatoes with olive oil and cracked pepper or in pasta. Best eaten within 24 hours.

Floridia Pecorino Red Chilli is a natural cheese manufactured from fresh pasteurized cow’s milk. This cheese is a drum-shaped wheel, firm in texture with a hard body and distributed through the cheese are red pepperoncino flakes. Pecorino Red Chilli Cheese is matured for a minimum of 4 months, where it develops a moderate spiciness that tickles the back of your throat without setting your mouth on fire. The pepperoncino is an Italian red chilli pepper about as hot as a jalapeno. Floridia Pecorino Red Chilli Cheese is yellow in appearance and is ideal for slicing, grating and on cheese boards. -
