The products in contention for the awards were all made from Australian milk and had won gold after a rigorous judging process in the 2022 qualifying state competitions.

Product delivery dates for dairy products: Wednesday/Thursday 19th and 20th January 2022
Product delivery dates for cheese: Monday/Tuesday 24th and 25th January 2022
Dairy product judging: Friday 21st January 2022
Cheese judging: Friday 28th January 2022
Winners announcement: Mid-March
