Make entertaining easy with this delciious accompaniment to cheese.
Ingredients
6 large ripe figs175g washed rind cheese, at room temperature
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Method
- Cut each fig in half and place on a serving platter. If required, trim a small slice off each fig base so that it stands straight.
- Cut cheese into 12 slices and drape one slice over each fig half.
- Just before serving, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with walnuts. Serve immediately with a glass of bubbly.
